More Power

Chevrolet includes the next-generation of the 5.7L and 6.6L V8 engines to provide even more capability for the Silverado 1500. The 2027 model will have four options for the powertrain. Along with the next-gen engines, the 2.7L TurboMax is enhanced to provide best-in-class standard torque. You’ll also have the choice of the Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel.

Buyers will get the choice of seven trims with a wide range of capabilities. Three of the trims will be lifted, including Trail Boss, Custom Trail Boss, and ZR2. The ZR2 will be even more capable of off-roading. The other trims include Work Truck, Custom, Silverado, and High Country.

The next-gen V8 engines have improved in both power and torque. Built on over 70 years of knowledge, the engines have gone through extensive testing to ensure they deliver on the promises made.

A New Look

The exterior of the 2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 will be all-new with a bolder image. LED headlights and taillights are new with updated rocker treatments and moldings around the wheel openings being more pronounced. The shape of the Silverado is more commanding in its presence with differences by trims to create a more authentic experience.

The inside of the Silverado 1500 is also updated, starting with a new edge-to-edge display. The center display measures a class-leading 16.3 inches with a 12.2-inch driver information center. These two displays are standard across all trims, a feature not often seen in trucks. Higher trims get an 11.5-inch front passenger screen and heads-up display. When you add these screens with the rear camera mirror, you have more than 60 inches of digital displays.

Even entry trims are well-equipped with navigation and optional trailering technology. Super Cruise driving assistance includes trailering capability, which is an exclusive feature in this class. Dual wireless charging makes it convenient to recharge multiple phones at once while USB ports enable charging of other devices.

Silverado 1500 ZR2

Recognized as the flagship of this model, the ZR2 offers enhanced off-roading capability blended with premium comfort features. A two-inch lift with a dedicated off-road hood enhance the versatility of the truck to handle any situation. E-lockers in the front and rear are standard with Multimatic DSSV dampers. Gain more features with the ZR2 Bison Edition, which includes skid plates, transfer case, rear differential, and more.

Other Trims

The Work Truck trim is built to make it easy to upfit for all kinds of industries and for commercial fleets. The interior is straightforward and easy to clean while being well-equipped with technology.

The Custom Trail Boss features a two-inch lift and 34-inch tires. Dual exhaust is standard on the Custom model while both add features to appeal to more buyers in design and technology.

For extra comfort, buyers will want to consider High Country. This model adds luxury in the form of polished details and real wood décor. Microfiber suede upholstery adds a soft touch to the day.
